Delete your account
You have the right to request the deletion of your LoopReply account and all associated personal data at any time, in accordance with Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — the "Right to Erasure". This page explains how to do it and what to expect.
Option 1 — Delete from your dashboard (fastest)
If you can sign in to your account, the quickest way to delete it is from the dashboard:
- Sign in at platform.loopreply.com.
- Open Settings → Account.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone and click Delete account.
- Confirm the action by typing your email address.
Your account will be marked for deletion immediately and permanently removed within 30 days.
Option 2 — Email us a deletion request
If you cannot access your account, or you prefer to send a written request, email us at support@loopreply.com from the address associated with your account. We'll verify your identity and process your request within 30 days, as required by GDPR.
The button above opens your default email client with a pre-filled deletion request. Please send it from the email address associated with your LoopReply account so we can verify it's really you.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your user profile, name, and email address
- Authentication credentials and active sessions
- Workspaces you own, including all members' access
- Bots, workflow designs, and system instructions you created
- Knowledge bases and uploaded documents
- Conversation data between your bots and end users
- Custom fields, integrations, and API keys
- Analytics and usage logs tied to your account
What we may retain (and why)
Some data may be retained for a limited period after deletion when we are legally required or have a legitimate need to keep it:
- Billing and invoicing records — retained for the period required by Romanian and EU tax and accounting laws (typically 10 years).
- Anti-fraud and security logs — retained for up to 12 months in an aggregated/anonymized form to protect the platform.
- Backups — encrypted backups may contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion before they are rotated and overwritten.
Important things to know
- This is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, we cannot recover your data.
- Active subscription. If you have a paid subscription, please cancel it before deletion. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle. See our Terms of Service.
- Workspace ownership. If you are the sole owner of a workspace with other members, deleting your account will also delete the workspace and all data inside it. To preserve a workspace, transfer ownership to another member first.
- Verification. For security, we will only process deletion requests sent from the email address registered on the account, or after we have verified your identity through other means.
Timeline
- Within 24 hours — your account is suspended and no longer accessible.
- Within 30 days — all personal data is permanently deleted from our production systems.
- Within 60 days — data is purged from rotating encrypted backups.
