LoopReply currently supports GPT-5, GPT-4o, Claude Opus 4.6, Claude Sonnet 4.6, Gemini 2.0, Llama 4, and Mistral Large. We add new models regularly — check the model selection panel in your bot settings for the current list.

Can I switch models without losing my workflows?

Yes. Switching models is a single setting change. Your entire workflow — nodes, conditions, knowledge base connections, API calls, and prompts — stays intact. The only thing that changes is which model generates the AI responses.

Do I need to bring my own API keys?

No API keys required on standard plans — LoopReply covers the model costs within your message allowance. On Scale and Enterprise plans, you can optionally connect your own API keys for higher rate limits or compliance requirements.

How does RAG work when I switch models?

The knowledge base retrieval pipeline (Pinecone vector search) is completely independent from the generative model. When you switch models, the same retrieval results are passed as context to the new model. You don't need to re-embed your knowledge base.

What happens if my primary model provider has an outage?

If you've configured a fallback model, LoopReply automatically routes requests to the fallback during provider outages. You'll receive a notification when a failover occurs and when the primary provider recovers.

Open the Bot Settings

Navigate to any bot in your LoopReply workspace and open the Model tab in the bot settings panel.

Select Provider and Model

Choose from the supported model list — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Mistral, or any newly added provider. Select the specific model version.

Configure Parameters

Set temperature, max tokens, and system prompt overrides for the selected model. Each model has sensible defaults that work out of the box.

Set a Fallback (Optional)

Choose a secondary model to use if the primary is unavailable. LoopReply will automatically switch to the fallback and notify you of any provider issues.

Test and Publish

Use the workflow preview to test responses with the new model. Compare output quality and speed before publishing. Rollback to the previous model with one click if needed.
